Hello and welcome! So nice that you're here 😀 I’m Nicole Schwab – alias Nicky Welsh. Why this artist name? My family and friends call me Nicky. I was born in 1972 in Wales/Great Britain as the daughter of a Welsh father and a German mother. I grew up in Newport/Gwent until I was 13 years old. After my parents separated, I moved with my mother to Southern Germany in 1986 as a teenager and met my future husband at school. My maiden name is Bulley. After marriage, I’m Schwab. Of course – I live in Swabia! So, the choice of the artist name 'Welsh' – derived from Wales – was clear for me 😊.

I’m the chairwoman of a self-founded association that supports children in need from my region.

This association means a lot to me, and it makes me incredibly happy to be able to help children with special needs and support their families 💚

I have two grown children, a daughter and a son (without whom this website wouldn’t exist as it does! Thanks for that 😊), and I live with my husband in the beautiful Remstal, near Stuttgart. Despite leaving Wales back then, I’m deeply connected to my homeland. I still have family and friends there. My husband and I regularly travel to the island and the small mystical land of green hills, red dragons, and the King Arthur legend.

And tattoos? Yes! I love tattoos 😀
